Hi beautiful friends.
First things first, thank you for trusting me with your email address.
If you’re receiving this it means you’re one of the few who dropped it when I asked who wanted to hear from me.
I entered each one individually and I hope you get some gold out of these little emails.
With these, (you’ll never get more than 1/week unless something crazy happens), I just want to share what I find valuable without all the hassle that comes with social media.
There’s a book called The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry, by John Mark Comer that is probably the only book besides the Bible (lol) that has changed my life permanently.
Here’s my personal takeaway: who we follow matters. We’re all mindlessly clicking buttons on these tiny computers in our pockets and they often leave us feeling less than our best.
So my hope is that as you read you’d feel good about yourself, be freshly inspired, and have your joy sparked every time.
Seriously.
If you find yourself feeling anything other than that, please let me know.
Sorry for a long intro, here we go!
This week’s shared-in-email-only photos:

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
Currently reading is my substitute for grabbing at my phone when I’m with my daughter (a NY Resolution of mine…it’s going fair, not good).
I’m very obsessive when it comes to the books I love and if you’re within 10 feet of me while I’m reading one I will be telling you about it and convincing you to read it too.
Mary Oliver, is someone I haven’t shut up about for the last decade.
Have you heard of her?
I’m guessing, yes.
If not, she’s the most widely read American poet (99% sure) and she’s the most whimsical women who ever lived (1,000% sure).
This is one of her most famous poems, I've linked the whole thing for you.
But as I consider what I’m doing writing to strangers on the internet, or taking hours of video & splicing it together with some background music and words…it’s hard not to feel like another ship in the night.
WHAT IS THE POINT?
So far, what I land on is this: sparking joy is a little rebellion against simply visiting this world.
If I can make you smile or give a little push toward a healthy new habit that you fall in love with or even make you feel better…
…then I’m not simply visiting this world.
WHAT I SHOPPED FOR THIS WEEK:
Of course I’ll post a Tok when they arrive, Mikoh is having an amazing sale!!

LINKS, BB
Here’s a list of things making my world spin joyfully round this week:
JMC NEW BOOK — obsessing. Can’t put it down. It’s about following Jesus so if that bugs you, read on:)
THESE JEANS — Size down, they stretch out throughout the day. All Agolde do:)
HOUSE DRESSES — Not an affiliate link, just a mega fan.
CARAWAY PAN — I’ve made my best stews, rice, taco toppings you name it in here. The “sauce pan” is the one I grab for maybe exclusively. SIERRA10 is your Campbell Coupon™ ;)
THIS VIBE — A pinterest board made just for you. This is the vibe I’m currently in. I typically rotate between all white everything & loud color. With little in between :)
YOUTUBE — Made my 2nd youtube video ever and I think I’m going to keep it long and chatty only. Let me know if you like that or if you hate it. I promise I can take it.
HOLY SH*T WHO KNEW A CORDLESS VACUUM COULD MAGICALLY MAKE YOU A CLEAN FREAK
WORDS OF LOVE, FOR YOU
I’m in a little whirlpool lately, living a very similar day over and over.
But I’ve decided to love that.
There have been years of my life that I craved regularity as I woke up after nights of stressful decisions. Or went to a job working 70 hour weeks with no regular “quitting time” (2 a.m. should never be an acceptable time to end a work day).
These days I…
7:00 a.m. wake up
7:10 run 1 mile
7:30 morning routine (ice face, shower, coffee)
8:30 see my husband off
9:00 put RoRo to nap
9:10 clean the kitchen
9:50 quiet devotional time
10:30 get ready for the day
11:00 play with RoRo
12:00 p.m. feed RoRo lunch
1:00 Walk or clean
2:00 Make Elias Lunch
2:10 Put RoRo down for 2nd nap
3:00 Play With RoRo
5:00 clean house
5:30 start dinner
then bedtime, hangout with Elias, and repeat.
That’s probably as close to a full-day vlog as we’ll ever get ^^.
When I say repeat, I mean repeat.
Every. Single. Day.
But I’ve made my mind up to live in gratitude about it. There is always something to complain about and always something to make a ruckus of joy about.
What’s that for you? What’s the coin that you can choose sorrow or joy about?
Your job? (Hate your boss, but it’s paying your bills!)
Your house? (Soo tiny, but easier to keep clean!)
Whatever it is, I hope you choose the silver lining even just for a moment this week.
I’m by NO means perfect at this, but the better I get at it the better my life gets. And my circumstances haven’t changed a bit.
That’s all folks!
Thanks for reading along. xx,
your friend,
Siece.
